AT SEA, ON BOARD M/V RESQ PEOPLE
The ResQ People crew consists of 21 members, including specialized volunteers and professional seafarers. The team is always composed of various nationalities, so the language on board is English. Missions are estimated to last about 4 weeks considering boarding, training, SAR operations. Due to the many external conditioning factors, a high degree of flexibility is required.
For volunteers, we request to indicate one or more slots of 4 consecutive weeks: we’re sorry but we can’t accept applications for shorter periods.
Seafarers’ contracts are generally for two months, renewable. The ship has German flag; we can employ European or non-European nationals with valid working permits. In addition to seafarer-related activities, the entire nautical crew is involved in SAR operations, under the supervision of the Master and the Head of Mission.

We provide all volunteers with a training, both online prior to arrival and on the field, and the minimum period required is 2 consecutive weeks, Sunday to Sunday.
